The MP-9810 and MP-9830 are non-contact, magneto-type detectors incorporating internal magnetoresistive element, permanent magnet, DC amplifier, and voltage regulator inside compact body.
By bringing it close to the tip of the detection gear attached to the rotating shaft, stable rectangle wave signals can be output from ultra-low speed to high speed rotation. In combination with the TM-4000 series Digital Tachometer or FV-1500 FV Converter, the rotational speed of various rotating equipment can be measured.
MP-9810 (Basic type): 0 Hz to 20 kHz, signal cable, extension cable, and connector sold separately
MP-9830 (High speed type): 0 Hz to 100 kHz, signal cable, extension cable, and connector sold separately
Features

Detection gear
Please use the detection gear which is satisfied with the following specifications.

Relationship between detection distance and gear modules
The detection distance of the detector varies depending on the module of the detection gear. Using larger module enables to detect for longer distance. Also, the detection distance is dependent upon temperature. In cases where the ambient temperature varies greatly, the mounting should be done as to make the detection distances as small as possible. The detection range shown in the figure assumes the output waveform duty ratio of 50 % ± 20 %.
Precautions of installation
The detector should be aligned the center of the gear teeth with the positioning mark.
