Micro sound measurement of a hard disk using a high sensitivity microphone in an anechoic room environment
Due to advances in silent technology of equipment and parts, the measurement needs of minute sounds are increasing. Products with quiet operation sounds, less noise have been already provided, such as cameras of cell phones, digital cameras, video cameras, and motor including products such as hard disk, DVD drives etc.
For sound improvement of those products, Ono Sokki provides measurement system using high sensitivity microphone, and anechoic room with performance of N-0 or less, which can measure micro sound.
This example shows how to measure minute sound of an external hard disk. The minute operation sound of the hard disk in standby state is measured in the anechoic chamber.
