A-2-3       Evaluating torque characteristic of hinge at OA equipment, cell phone etc.

  • This example shows how to measure torque characteristic of hinge used in various fields; home appliances such as a rice cooker, a microwave, OA equipment including a fax or photo copy machine, a cell phone or note PC. This application is effective for automating and laborsaving as followings.
    • Control of power in opening and closing
    • Measurement of changing hinge characteristic after a long period of use over ten thousand times of open-close tests
  • The lineup of the SS series torque detectors consists of 13 models from 0.2N·m to 2000N·m. Suitable model can be selected depending on the torque capacitance of a measurement object.
  • Please set up an intermediate bearing between a torque detector and a work not to be subjected to radial or thrust load.
  • The TS-2800 displays measurement value digitally, and has external output of analog voltage, BCD or RS-232C. Compact-designed and easily built in a measurement equipment.
