CF-3600A (4-ch)/3800A (8-ch) is an all-in-one type portable
FFT analyzer with touch panel computer utilizing
simultaneous analysis and recording. The lightweight
and all-in-one configuration makes using the unit on site easy
and efficient. With its portability and built-in sensor
amplifier, CF-3600A/CF-3800A provides a less restricted,
more efficient measurement and analysis while still
achieving high accuracy in noise/vibration.
CF-3600A/CF-3800A features a variety of measurement applications
such as natural frequency measurement by frequency response
function, tracking analysis for evaluating the dynamic
characteristics of rotating machines and engines, real-time
octave analysis which is effective for acoustical analysis and
throughput disk function enabling direct recording of waveform
data to the built-in hard disk drive of CF-3600A/CF-3800A
directly. In addition, 1/N real-time octave, octave tracking and
field balancing analyses can be performed by installing optional
software.
Also, by using installed secondary processing software such
as OC-1000 Graph creating software and commercially available
software, you can make presentable report easily with the
measured and analyzed data.

Features

Simply plug AC cable and sensors to CF-3600A/3800A, it is ready
to start measurements. The lightweight and all-in-one
configuration makes using the unit on site easy and efficient.

15-inch color touch panel monitor provides direct
operation and eliminates the need of a keyboard and mouse. It
makes the measurement on site going on smoothly with no stress.

Adopting 24-bit A/D converter, it ensures high
accurate and reliable data analysis with wide dynamic range of
100 dB which may be one of the most advanced performances in the
world. The stored data can be analyzed off-line on main unit of
CF-3600A/3800A. Moreover, advanced and diverse analyses such as
multi-frequency range analysis, digital filter processing and
fluctuating sound analysis can be performed by using PC analysis
software.

Tracking analysis*1 for
evaluating the measurement of noise/vibration and dynamic
characteristics of rotating machine or engine, real-time
octave analysis*2 which is effective for
acoustical analysis, throughput disk function*3,
which enables direct recording of waveform data to built-in hard
disk drive. Further, 1/N real-time octave analysis, octave
tracking analysis and filed balancing analysis also can be
performed by installing optional software. The recorded data is
stored by the extension of ORF, Ono Sokki’s original file
format, and it can be transformed into the WAV, DADISP, MATLAB
and UFF by using file export function*3.
Moreover, CF-3600A/3800A can analyze the recorded data with
multiple applications.

battery which ensures the data will never the lost in the event
of a power failure.

Frequency response function

Resonance may cause the chatter vibration of robot or machine
tool, or noise/vibration of vehicle and home appliance. For the
analysis of resonance, the most popular method is frequency
response function measurement of the object by using impulse
hammer. As neither attaching excitation tool to the structure
nor long measurement time is required, excitation by the impulse
hammer is the most ideal method for on site measurement
including trouble shooting. Maximum of 8-ch* simultaneous signal
processing, at 40kHz range and 6400-point frequency analysis can
be performed.

Tracking analysis
|
CF-3600AT、CF-3800AT
Rotating machinery such as engine or compressor must cover wide
range of rotation speed from very low to high speed. For those
rotation machineries, resonance which is generated by rotation
speed and natural frequency of the each component (parts such as
rotation shaft, gear, blacket etc.) will be the most significant
problem. In case of tortional vibration in large power
generators and the like, resonance creats great vibration
excitation energy that exceeds the tolerance of the machinery
and can cause serious accident to be destroyed. When the
rotating machinery makes vibration at a certain rotation speed,
the rotation tracking analysis is one of the effective method to
identify the rotation speeds at which rotating parts generate
the noise/vibration, and how many times of the frequency
component (order) of noise/vibration are generated. |

Throughput disk function

With the throughput disk function,
it can directly record original signal waveform to
CF-3600A/CF-3800A at a maximum of 8-ch*. The recorded data not
only can be recalled and analyzed by CF-3600A/3800A via thourhput
disk function, but also can be performed in advanced
and diverse analyses such as multi-frequency range analysis,
signal processing by digital filter with PC analysis software.

Real-time octave analysis
|
CF-3600AR、CF-3800AR
In order to solve the noise problem, the frequency analysis is
required. Octave analysis has long been used as noise analysis.
An octave represents that frequency with ratio of 1:2 to the
frequency that is, double the frequency. The human ear senses
sound in geometric progressions to the frequency. In view of
this feature, a series of octave bands based on 1kHz frequency
has been standardized. The sound pressure of each band is
obtained through the standardized band-pass filter. The octave
band based on 1 kHz frequency is called the 1/1 octave band,
while the bands formed by dividing into third are called 1/3
octave bands. Real-time octave analysis software can perform
simultaneous frequency analysis with maximum of 8-ch*.

1/N Real-time octave analysis
|
Option:DS-0224
By adding optional software of
DS-0224 1/N real-time octave analysis function to
CF-3600AR/CF-3800AR, the signal power of noise/vibration can be
analyzed and displayed as 1/6, 1/12, 1/24 real-time octave band.
Simultaneous analysis from 0.701Hz to 17.20kHz (1/24 octave) can
be performed. Also DS-0224 can simultaneously measure the
following four values; maximum value, minimum value, power
average value and power sum value.

Octave tracking analysis

Adding optional software of DS-0243 octave tracking analysis
function enables CF-3600AR/CF-3800AR to perform octave tracking
analysis. This software can analyze and display the level trend
of each band for each rotation speed after input of rotation
data and retrieving an each fixed rotation as real-time octave
analysis data.

Field balancing software
|
Option:DS-0227
The 1st order vibration will become large by the unbalanced
phenomenon of rotation. When the rotation speed is changed with
unbalance, the resonance may be generated and it is so
dangerous. The unbalance must be corrected. However, the
conventional vector calculation method of drawing a vector graph
and performing vector calculations takes a long time, making it
difficult to carry out on site field balancing. DS-0227 filed
balancing software can calculate easily single plane for one
condition, single plane for two conditions, and two planes for
two parameters of field balancing. |
