Conductor

You can measure objects with any material and surface condition. You can also measure objects which have less than several kΩ/cm of resistivity can be measured. Moreover, even if the object being measured contains an insulator, you can still measure the entire thickness of the object providing that a conductor is on the surface and the insulator at the core.

 

Semiconductor

 

Silicon wafer can be measured. However, in the case of materials such as gallium arsenide and sapphire, it depends on specific resistivity whether you can measure it. For more details, please contact us.

Insulator

You can measure glass and plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene. (Objects which can be measured must be thin and composed of simple material evenly distributed throughout.)
