How to measure the frequency characteristics of a compact speaker simply and quickly in a mobile phone etc.

 

Example1:Real-time measurement (using LA-7500, DS-3000, and a PC)

By using the signal output function of the DS-3202, generate the sine sweep signal and input to the speaker. Then measure the sound generated from the speaker with the sound level meter.
Measure the frequencies of both sine sweep signal and AC out signal of the sound level meter with the DS-0321 FFT Analysis software, and obtain the frequency characteristics of the speaker.
Peak Average function of the power spectrum allows the display both X axis as frequency and Y-axis as sound pressure level. The following example shows the simultaneous measurement of the power spectrum and the frequency response.
