This example shows how to measure the rotational speed of DC motors that are built in home appliances. The rotational speed and direction of rotation can be measured by detecting the magnetic flux leakage form the DC motor built in the electric toothbrush, and performing frequency calculation in periodic change of magnetic flux using the detector (FT-0501).

Two staged, upper- / lower-limit comparator output function is provided as standard which is useful to make OK, LOWER, or UPPER decision in production line use.
