The cable length between the VE series Gap Detector and the CL-5610 Non-contact Thickness Meter is 1.5 m. It cannot be extended to secure the efficiency. If you wish to use away from the VE sensor more than 1.5 m, please use the CL-5610S. The CL-5610S can be used away from the sensor through an external amplifier (CL-0420). It enables to extend the length between a main unit and a sensor maximum 11.5 m.
