Application 4 Sound power level measurement

The sound pressure can be measured simultaneously by the multi microphone based on DS-2000 in the measurement method which is conformed to the JIS Z8732 "Acoustics−Determination of sound power levels of noise sources using sound pressure-Precision methods for anechoic and hemi−anechoic rooms" and JIS Z8734 "Acoustics−Determination of sound power levels of noise sources using sound pressure−Precision methods for reverberation rooms".

High accuracy sound power level measurement is possible in short term.

The DS-2000 is applicable to small to large number of microphones. Also, it can be flexibly combined with the microphone fixing jig, microphone stand, and analysis software.

It can be operated in the Windows OS on a personal computer. The analysis results are displayed in the monitor and printing of the graph and numerical value list is possible. The sound power level can be observed in various formats.

Example of analysis system

1. Octave band or 1/3 octave and sound power level

2. A-weighted sound power level

3. Averaging sound pressure level

4. Directional characteristic
