The power spectrum value is changed when I opened the data which has been measured by DS-0221 with "A-weighting ON" setting and stored in the text format. Does any setting effect the power spectrum value?
The data which is stored in the text format is the data which is displayed on the screen. Therefore, when the data which is measured by the DS-0221 in the setting of "A-weighting ON" is stored in the text format, the stored data is the data which is applied A-weighting. If reopen this text data by the DS-0221 and turn the A-weighting ON, the power spectrum of double A-weighting data is displayed. So in this case, please turn OFF the A-weighting of frequency weighting when you reopen the text data by the DS-0221.

Operation procedure to turn ON/OFF the A-weighting of frequency weighting

1. Click the current data (measurement in progress data) to activate it and set [Analysis > Frequency weighting > OFF] in this order on the menu.

2. Open the stored power spectrum text data and reproduce it.

Supplement

When the process of the menu [Analysis > Frequency weighting > A-weighting ON] in this order, displays the result which is secondary calculated data of the original measured data. When the data is saved in [.dat] format, the original data is stored. Therefore, when the data saved in [.dat] format is reproduced, the data which is applied the A-weighting for once is displayed.

Upper raw Data which is measured in the setting of "A-weighting ON (current data)".
Middle raw Reproduce the data which is stored in the txt format at upper raw. (The data is measured in the setting of A-weighting ON, so A-weighting is applied double. Therefore, the overall value is different from the value at upper raw. This value is relied on the frequency distribution of the data, so it can be larger or smaller than original data.)
Lower raw Reproduce the data which is stored in [.dat] format at upper raw. The overall value is same as the value at upper raw.
