New: Volumetric Flow Detectors FP-5000 series

In engine evaluations, the evaluation methods have been shifting from steady-state tests to transient tests. In the evaluation of fuel consumption, the requirement for evaluating the fuel consumption characteristics in transient duration has been increasing. The FP-5000 series enables to detect changes in the flow rate effectively and responsively, and measure large flow rate. 

 

What has improved from the existing model?

1.Able to measure the small amount of changes
Achieves 0.0005 mL/pulse resolution (when using FP-5130 series, up to 20 times of the existing models)

2.Applicable to New fuels as standard
The detector can be used without modification in the fuel flow measurement of engines that often use alcohol fuel such as Bio fuel .

 

3.Fuel Density Meter can be added
Density meter can be added to satisfy the needs of mass flow measurement. Best used when the number of molecules need to be monitored, regardless of pressure and temperature conditions.

Flow measurement applications

■In case of fuel returnless type engine

For fuel returnless type engine such as gasoline engine, the combination of On-Board Volumetric Flow Detector FP-4135 and  Fuel Density Meter FD-5110 will achieve the mass flow measurement.

 

■In case of fuel return type engine

For fuel return type engine such as diesel engine, we offer On-Board Flow Detector MF-3200. On-Board Flow Detector provides the fuel return processing function.
