This Example shows how to measure the rotational speed of DC motors that built in the home appliances. Even if the DC motor has been installed deeply inside at an appliance such as an electric toothbrush, the rotational speed can be measured by the magnetic flux leakage from the outside of the case with the Magnetic flux leakage sensor (FT-0501). And then, it performs the frequency analysis by FFT calculations in order to display the rotational speed by inputting the number of pole in the DC motor rotor.

Analog signal output and sensor signal monitor output are provided as standard function. Analog signal output can be used for recording the fluctuation of rotational speed by pen-recorder and so on, sensor signal monitor output can be used in order to check the signal waveform.
