As non-contact type digital tachometer, affixing the 12mm-square reflective mark to the surface or edge of rotating shaft, which measures revolution with the visible light reflection system.

When it is used together with the supplied contact adapter (HT-0502: standard accessory) and contact tip (KS-300: standard accessory), it can be used as a contact type tachometer. It measures the rotational speed by pressing the contact tip (KS-300) against the center of concaved surface of the rotating shaft. Besides the line speed can be measured by pressing the supplied circumferential ring (KS-200: standard accessory) to the object surface such as belt conveyer.

Both analog and pulse signal output are provided as standard function. Analog output is used for recording the fluctuation of rotational speed by pen-recorder etc. and pulse output is used as external sampling signal of tracking analysis at FFT Analyzer.

Maximum 20 data can be saved with built-in memory function.
