The relationship between the "voltage value" and "acceleration (GAL)" of the AC signal of the VR-6100.

The AC output of the VR-6100 is 0.707 Vrms ± 15 % in display of upper limit range level.
The effective value 0.707 Vrms becomes 1.0 V in the half amplitude value (0-Peak). When the setup of vibration level range is "10 to 70 dB", half amplitude of 1.0 V is outputted in the level range of 70 dB in the vibration of single frequency sine wave. When the acceleration (effective value: m/s2) to be measured is Y, the acceleration of 70 dB can be obtained by the following formula based on the standard of vibration level.

With above, Y can be obtained as follows (when reference acceleration is 10-5 m/s2, the vibration level is 0 dB);

The acceleration (effective value) for the vibration level of 70 dB is 0.0316 m/s2, and 0.0316×√2=0.04472 m/s2 for half amplitude.

According to the above, acceleration of 0.04472 m/s2 corresponds to the AC output of 1.0 V, with the AC output of 0.2 V, the acceleration is 0.008944 m/s2 = 0.8944 GAL.

To calculate in the excel format;

When cell B is the output voltage value of vibrations, input the following formula to obtain the acceleration, if cell A is 70.
