The reflectivity affect of the target measurement object

For the measurement, the laser light needs to be reflected to the sensor, so when the measurement of the transparent object or the object which absorbs the laser light (the frosted black object, etc.), the reflective mark is necessary to stick to the measurement object. For the measurement of the mirror finished object, when the laser light is reflected directly forward to the sensor axis direction, it measures with the best S/N ratio. However, when the laser light is slantingly applied, it is necessary to use the reflective mark. When the reflective mark is used, it is possible to measure until the angle of around 45 degrees. However, the LV series can be only measured the vibration components of the sensor axis direction.


* For the LV-1100/1600 series, the reflection light amount can be checked at the indicator located on the main unit.
