In the MAX/MIN/R (R: between maximum to minimum values) modes, maximum and minimum values are continuously captured, and the peak value is shown and held in the display. (The data sampling time is around 30 ms, so sometimes the true value cannot be held during that period.)
MODE: ○ Press the switch briefly and release.
The display will change in the following sequence: Normal mode → MAX mode → MIN mode → R mode → Normal mode
<1> Maximum value display
When the MODE switch is pressed once in the normal mode, "MAX" appears in the display, and the maximum value of the measurement value is displayed continuously.
<2> Minimum value display
When the MODE switch is pressed once in the MAX mode, "MIN" appears in the display and the minimum value of the measurement value is displayed continuously.
<3> Range (maximum to minimum) display
When the MODE switch is pressed once in the MIN mode, "R" appears in the display. The maximum to minimum value is displayed continuously.
<4> Back to the normal mode
When the MODE switch is pressed once again in the R mode, back to the normal mode.
<5> Data reset
To reset the data, move the spindle to the reference point and press the RESET switch. When resetting is made in MAX, MIN or R mode, the display shows 0.00 and measurement begins from this point. When resetting is made from normal mode and switch to the MAX mode, the MAX, MIN measurement begins from the switched point initial value (In the example <1>, initial value is set to +12.34.).
