This function takes the spindle position as the zero point when the power is switched on, and this position is always set as the zero point for the measurement, until the power is switched off.

 

This value can be checked from any display of the normal measurement function. (The measurement value of the absolute measurement function can be reset by switching the power off.)

 

Whenever the reset is operated in the normal measurement function, there is no effect on the zero point of the absolute measurement function

 

This function is useful to read both relative and absolute values.

 

(1) Measurement method

When the power is switched on, the normal measurement function is displayed.

 

(2) Returning method

Please press the RESET switch to return to the normal measurement function. Return to the mode when the function is switched to the absolute measurement function.

 

(3) The switch operation during the absolute measurement

 

RESET :
○ Returns to the normal measurement function.

 

POWER :
Switches off the power. To process the zero reset at the absolute measurement function, press the POWER switch off and on again.

 

+/− :
The direction switch cannot be changed in the absolute function. The counting direction is fixed in the ▲ direction. Therefore, the direction of polarity may be the reverse of that in the normal measurement function.
