LC series Non-contact Speedometer FAQ

Note for fixing the LC-1100/SF-660B Spatial Filter Type Speed Detector-Part 2

To fix the LC-1100/SF-660B Spatial Filter Type Speed Detector by using the mounting fixture, please note followings;

1. Choose a safe position with a limited engine vibration at back and front or left and right side of the vehicle.
2. Firmly fix it orthogonal as much as possible to the central line of the vehicle.

Mounting at front or back of the vehicle

Loose the thumbscrews in of the above figure and fix the mounting fixture of the detector firmly. Loose the crank lever in of the above figure. Adjust the detector to the specified height and firmly retighten the crank lever.

■ Key point 1

Choose the flat surface of the rear trunk or back of the vehicle as possible (or the flat surface of the rear glass as possible), and adjust the angle of entire suction mounting fixture to enable the suction surface to be applied uniformly.

■ Key point 2

Adjust the pulling out amount by loosening the thumbscrew of auxiliary part for fixing which is fixed to the lower position of the detector mounting fixture. Mount it on the bumper or between the body and bumper and secure it with adhesive tape. At this time, please check carefully so that the angle of suction surface is not changed or squareness of the detector against the road is not changed.

■ Key point 3

Wipe to fully remove the stain of the surface where the suction surface is attached. Similarly wipe the surface, when it is wet.

■ Key point 4

To suck the unit, press the suction part as hard as possible and pull down the upper lever outward. Before this operation, turn the suction intensity adjusting screw which is located in directly above the suction as much as possible to counter clockwise direction. The suction power is improved by increasing the dent of the sucker. We recommend you to keep the detector with the lever pulled down to opposite side, so that unnecessary load is not applied to the rubber of the suction part.

In addition, please refer to the [Note for fixing the LC-1100/SF-660B Spatial Filter Type Speed Detector-Part 1].
