					Abnormal vibration which is generated at 
						the time of gear processing is a main cause of Failure 
						product. Causes for generating abnormal vibration 
						include abrasion or missing of gear teeth and 
						abnormality in machinery itself. After processing gear, 
						operator inspects its state by visual checking or using 
						exclusive machine. Inspections of all processed gears 
						require a lot of time and effort. In this example, the 
						VC-3200 detects and judges abnormal vibration by 
						mounting a sensor on a measurement object 
						(attachable/removable magnetic).  The VC-3200 can 
						monitor abnormality in rotation of first order (rattling 
						of processing machine) and abnormality from damage of 
						gear teeth (high frequency band) with appropriate setup 
						and usage of band pass filter. The VC-3200 greatly helps 
						to reduce labor and improve product quality by 
						prevention of Failure product or its outflow as well as 
						facilitating total inspection. 
					The VC-3200 can be setup three kinds of 
						frequency bands and make Pass/Fail judgment of each 
						band based on rms, peak or power averaging calculated 
						value (same for all bands). Also 
						it has the comparator delay time setting function and 
						auto operation function. The comparator delay time 
						setting function removes the unwanted signal at the time 
						of starting measurement and the auto operation function 
						can control the timing of judgment by inputting 
						control signal from external device such as PLC*. 
						Although the VC-3200 can be operated by 24 VDC (22 to 26 
						VDC) as standard, you have an alternative to use it at 
						100 VAC by connecting the optional AC/DC convertor 
						VC-0352.
					Connecting the VC-3200 to a PC via RS-232C 
						interface enables storing the measured data and so on.
					By connecting a pair of commercially sold 
						headphones to the VC-3200, it is possible to make 
						hearing check of vibrating sound. Moreover, it can be 
						used instead of conventional stethoscopic probe. Output 
						signals are provided for each band, enabling an 
						observation for vibration phenomenon on each frequency 
						band.
