• When abnormal vibration is generated during knocking test or endurance test of engine, the operation must be stopped. In particular, abnormal vibration in unattended operation or unexpected abnormality might cause serious damage of system etc. so monitoring vibration is necessary to avoid that kind of accident. This application enables control of machinery by constantly monitoring vibration in unattended operation. For example, it brings an emergency stop of operation and outputs Failure signal when abnormal vibration is generated.
   
• The VC-2200 can be setup two kinds of frequency bands and make Pass/Fail judgment of each band based on rms, peak values. Also it has the comparator delay time setting function and auto operation function. The comparator delay time setting function removes unwanted signal at the time of starting measurement and auto operation function can control a timing of determination by inputting control signal from external device such as PLC^*.
   
• By connecting a pair of commercially sold headphones to the VC-2200, it is possible to make hearing check of vibrating sound. Moreover, it can be used instead of conventional stethoscopic probe. Output signal is provided for each band, enabling an observation for vibration phenomenon on each frequency band.
