• At an inspection of bearing before delivery, scratch, foreign material and rattling from inside of bearing by bad installation are inspected. Two VC-3200 vibration comparators catch the vibration conducted through bearing frame and make determination by using two accelerometers. The accelerometers are mounted with being shifted at 90 degrees on a bearing.
   
• The VC-3200 can be setup three frequency bands and make Pass/Fail judgment based on rms, peak or power averaging calculated value (same for all bands) on each band. Also it has effective functions such as comparator delay time setup function and auto operation function. Comparator delay time setup function removes unwanted signal at the time of starting measurement and automatic operation function can control a timing of determination by inputting control signal from external device such as PLC*. As the VC-3200 can set ten points for each high pass/low pass filter as standard, three more filter options (VC-0321, VC-0322 and VC-0323) are added to make fine and specific judgment in this example.
   
• Connecting the VC-3200 to a PC via RS-232C interface enables storing measured data and so on.
   
• By connecting a pair of commercially sold headphones to the VC-3200, it is possible to make hearing check of the vibrating sound. Moreover, it can be used instead of conventional stethoscopic probe. Output signals are provided for each band, enabling an observation for vibration phenomenon on each frequency band separately.
