Measurement A: Measurement at the
working area where the sound level is nearly
homogeneous; Set sound level meters above the floor
surface at 1.2m to 1.5m on the cross points (more than
five points) of vertical and
horizontal lines which are made at even intervals (6m or
less for each side). And then, the time-average sound
level (equivalent continuous sound level Leq) for ten
minutes can be measured.
Measurement B: Measurement at the
working area near the sound source; Set the sound level
meters on the working points when the sound level is
expected to be the highest. And then, the time-average
sound level (equivalent continuous sound level, Leq)
for ten minutes can be measured.
After A and B measurements, each result is
evaluated in order to take measures for the improvement
in working area.
