• This example shows an application of length measurement at a production line. The rotary encoder, RP-1711, is connected to a roller shaft, and measures moving distance of an object.
• An appropriate displaying unit can be set up on the TM-4370 Reversible Counter using operation functions of the numbers of generated pulses and roller distance.
• Comparator output makes output of command signal for cutting off to a PLC, and alert to a signal tower.
• The measured value can be displayed on a large-sized external display unit by BCD output, stored on a PC using RS-232C interface. Moreover, continuous recording can be available on an external recording equipment via analog output.
