This example shows how to measure the thickness of steel plate by VE series sensors mounted on precision rolling machine. You can choose suitable model of gap detector depending on your required resolution (1μm or 0.1μm).
In the above example, VE-8020 with wide measurement range (gap max. at 8mm) is used.
