This example shows how to measure the squareness of cutoff copper plate using four linear gauge sensors. The OK/NG decision is made in comparison with the measured value and the mastered value.

First, preset the copper plate on the measurement table as a master piece and reset the system. Then each linear gauge sensor measures the dimension of processed copper plate. The OK/NG decision is made in comparison with the measured value and the mastered value.

The DG-4340 digital gauge counter can display the measurement result visually. When the measured value against the setting value is either "Lower" or "Upper", the backlight of LCD changes into red color.
