This example shows how to measure the height of swaging part including crimp-type terminal, using the GS-7710 as a built-in sensor to the automatic machine. The GS-7710, pen-type linear gauge sensor, is suitable for built-into the narrow space.

The DG-4340 digital gauge counter can display the measurement result visually. When the measured value against the setting value is either "Lower" or "Upper", the backlight of LCD changes into red color.

We recommend the GS-6800 series for built-into the automatic machine which has much vibration. The GS-6800 excels in resistance to vibration and impact.

When transverse force is applied to linear gauge sensor, we recommend an indirect measurement, using jig etc. The indirect measurement prevents a sensor from excessive load. However, please take notice that sensor might cause less accuracy with an indirect measurement.
