S-1-4 Quality control of wire harness device depending on the winding noise

- This example shows quality control of the harness device included in the sliding door mechanism by using the sound generated during winding the harness. Drive a motor of wire harness system in a sound insulating box and the LA-1411 Sound level meter measures the sound generated during winding the harness. Then the CF-4700A performs frequency analysis of the AC output signal from the Sound level meter to make OK/NG judgment of the partial overall level in a specific frequency band.
- Judgment area block (max: 20 blocks) is set up by the specified frequency range on the power spectrum and the upper/lower-limit levels.The most suitable judgment method can be selected from 6 kinds of judgment methods (level, peak level, peak max, insideMax, partial overall or area rate of content). The Digital I/O function also enables control by PLC* via comparator output.
- The measurement results can be stored into a PC via LAN or RS-232C interface.
