FFT Acoustic analysis
S-1-1 Sound analysis of a smartphone/cell phone
- Using the DS-5000 O-Solution Data station and the LA-7500 High performance Sound Level Meter, acoustic characteristics of ringtone from a smartphone/cell phone are obtained while monitoring the sound pressure level.
- Measure the sound pressure level of ringtone by the LA-7500, and input the AC signal to the DS-3000 series. The DS-5000 O-Solution can analyze the AC signal through FFT analysis, 1/1・1/3 octave analysis and trend analysis of the specified frequency band. The output of A-weighted signal can be set by the LA-7500.
- You can also use the MI-1235 (microphone), the MI-3111 (preamplifier) instead of the LA-7500.
- Use the sound insulating box to cut off the disturbance sound.

Remarks The O-Solution DS-5000 needs a PC separately. Other models of FFT analyzer can be applicable (the CF-9200A with CF-0923 octave analysis software). |
