About voltage output (THR, AC, DC)

VC series has three types of voltage output such as THR, AC, and DC. They output simultaneously.
THR and AC are used as analysis signal for FFT analyzer, and DC output is used as recording output.

Output voltage

THR

No.10: +
No.11:COM

Amplify the input signal by the magnification of “THR GAIN” displayed in the COND MONI menu and output. This magnification is automatically set according to the input range and SENS sensitivity setting value and cannot be changed arbitrarily.
(This is the signal output that does not pass through the band pass.)
(Example) When using the accelerometer of 5 mV/ms-2;
The voltage is output at the following ratio when the menu display is x1, x5.
 THR output= 5 mV/ms-2   (when ×1)
 THR output= 25 mV/ms-2 (when ×5)

 Max. output voltage  ±5 V
AC

No.14: +
No.15:COM

Select one band from A, B (or C). Output the AC signal which is limited in the selected band. Output ±full scale value of the bar indicator as ±100 % (=±5 V). Max. output voltage ±5 V
DC

No.12: +
No.13:COM

The AC signal limited by the displayed band (A, B, or C) is converted to the effective value and output the DC signal. When the integral is ON, the integrated signal is output. The value of bar indicator of 0 to full scale (at scale x1) is outputted as 0 to +100% (=0 to +5V). Max. output voltage is +5 V. When attached the VC-0253 Current output option, the DS terminal becomes current output. Output as a current by converting “0 to 5 V” to “4 mA to 20 mA”.

(Notes) When display scale of bar indicator is enlarged (SCL x2), the 100% of full scale is at enlargement OFF state.

Full scale: 100 m/s2
Acceleration half amplitude: 50 m/s2
At PEAK and RMS
AC output voltage: half amplitude 2.5 V
DC output voltage: 1.76 V

■THR output gain checking

Open the CONDITION SET menu by pressing the MENU key.
Open the COND MONI menu by changing the menu to 8: MONI with ∧ and ∨ keys (reverse display) and press ENT key.

1 : Check the number of the magnification to be displayed on the “1: THR GAIN”.
