How to mount the MP-981

(1)Mounting fixture

Please fix the MP-981 using the mounting fixture on nonmagnetic materials to provide a secure, vibration-free mount. Use the detector’s nut rather than by cutting the thread into the object for mounting.

We recommend 15 to 20 Nm as a tightening torque.

 

 

(2)Positioning

 

A positioning mark (▲) should be positioned to roughly the center of teeth edge. Mounting should also be done so that the gear shaft is perpendicular to the detector. The distance between gear and detector should be 1 mm or less.
