MAN memory operation

1. Overview

MAN memory is an independent general purpose memory with addresses 0 to 80. When data storage operation is performed, all measured data (displayable measurement value or calculation value) are stored in the MAN memory. The stored data is retained until another data is stored in the same address number of the MAN memory

Data storing procedure

◆Operation procedure

1. Measure the data to be stored.

2. Select the MAN memory mode.
Press the panel switch [Mem Mode] of the secondary function to activate the memory mode. Then press the panel switch [Mem Mode] several times until the MAN memory mode is selected.

3. Select the address number (01 to 80) to store the data.
The memory address is incremented or decremented every time you press panel switch [Address ▲·▼] of the secondary function. If the panel switch [Address ▲] is pressed when address number 80 is displayed, the address number is returned to 01. (*) mark is indicated after the address number which has been already stored the data. The following is an example when the address number 07 is specified.

4. Execute the storing data.
When the panel switch [Store] of the secondary function is pressed, currently displayed data is stored in the MAN memory address number of 07. When the data has been stored, the address number is automatically incremented.

<Note>

Only when measured value is stored in address number 80, the address number is not incremented. Please note that the data cannot be stored when it is real-time calculation data.

2. Recalling procedure of the stored data

<Note>

• The recall data is switched according to the increment or decrement of the address, when the panel switch [Address ▲·▼] is pressed while displaying the recall data.

• (*) mark is indicated to the address number which has been stored data, and (*) mark is not indicated to the address which has not been stored the data.

◆Operation procedure

1. Activate the memory mode and select MAN memory mode.
Press the panel switch [MemMode] of the secondary function to activate the memory mode. Then press the panel switch [MemMode] several times until the MAN memory mode is selected.

2. Specify the address number to be recalled.
The memory address is incremented or decremented every time you press panel switch [Address ▲·▼] of the secondary function. (*) mark is indicated after the address number which has been already stored the data.

3. Execute recalling the data.
When the panel switch [Recall] of the secondary function is pressed, the data which is stored in the MAN memory address number 07 is recalled. If you want to turn OFF (cancel) the recall function, please press the panel switch [Recall] again.

3. Switching recall screen to List display

When the [LIST] switch is pressed with the recall data displayed, equivalent continuous A-weighted sound pressure level, single event sound exposure level, maximum value, minimum value, and peak level are listed. When data is stored upon the completion of calculation, press the panel switch [Lp/Leq…] to list all of LX value.

4. Recall data and panel switch

When the recall data is displayed, the following panel switch can be operated. To operate any inoperable switch, press the panel switch [Recall] of the secondary function to cancel the recall function.

[LIGHT]: Backlight ON/OFF switching

[Main / Sub]: MAIN/SUB switching
This switch is available when recalls the dual mode calculation data.

[Recall]: Recall ON/OFF switching

[2nd]: Panel switch function switching

[Address]: Address switching

[LIST]: Normal display and list display switching

[Lp/Leq …]: Switching to display percentile sound pressure data
