Recording the level by the level recorder
You can record the noise level by connecting the Sound Level Meter to the optional Level Recorder (CX-4500). For details, please refer to the instruction manual of the CX-4500 Level Recorder.
Procedure of connecting Sound Level Meter and Level Recorder
Connect [ANALOG OUT AC] connector of the Sound Level Meter and [SIG IN] connector of the Level Recorder with the accessory of the signal input output cable (AX-501).
1. Set the [AC/DC] switch of the CX-4500 to AC.
2. Set the [RANGE] switch of the CX-4500 to 50 dB.
3. Set the [GAIN] switch of the CX-4500 to 0 dB.
4. Turn the power switch of the Sound Level Meter and the CX-4500 ON.
CX-4500 Level Recorder setting
Before using the CX-4500, please set the switches as follows;

Procedure of calibrating the CX-4500 Level Recorder
To print data more precisely, calibrate the CX-4500 with the following procedure before use.
Press the panel switch [CAL (COND LOAD)] of the Sound Level Meter to output the calibration signal.
Confirm pen activation of the CX-4500 Level Recorder by pressing the [PEN] switch of the CX-4500. Move the pen position at -6 scales from the left edge of the recording paper by turning the [LEVEL] switch of the CX-4500.
