Manual memory operation

The following describes the storing, recalling, and clearing operation of the manual memory function.

 

Storing the data in manual memory

The storing procedure in the manual memory is as follows.

 

When the data is stored to the address displayed at present.

1. Complete the measurement.

2. Perform the storing operation.

When you press the panel switch [STORE], the data is stored in the address which is displayed in the upper right of the screen. The address is automatically moved to the next one after the data is stored.

 

When the data is stored to the selected address.

1. Complete the measurement.

2. Select the address number to store the data.

Select the secondary panel switch mode and then press the panel switch [Memory (▲·▼)] to select the address number (Number is from M0001). The data stored mark is displayed to the address number which already contained data.

3. Perform the storing operation.

Press the panel switch [STORE] to store the calculation value in the selected address.

With the LA-1240/1250/1350, values of Leq/LE/LMAX/LX are stored in the memory. With the LA-4350, values Leq/LE/LMAZ/Lpk/LX are stored in the memory. The store mark is displayed during the storing operation.

 

 

[Notes]

If you store data in an address which already contained data, new data is overwritten to the existing data.

 

Recalling the manual memory data

The recalling operation in the manual memory is as follows.

1. Complete the data storing operation.

2. Select the address number to recall the data.

Select the secondary panel switch mode and then press the panel switch [Memory (▲·▼)] to select the address number. (Address number is from M0001) The data stored mark is displayed to the address number which already contained the data.

3. Perform the recalling operation

Select the secondary panel switch mode and then press the panel switch [Recall]. The data is recalled from the selected address. The recall mark is displayed to the recalled data.

 

 

4. Select the measurement item.

After selecting the primary panel switch mode, each time you press the panel switch [Lp/Leq..(Lx)], the measurement item of the recalled data is changed.

 

 

Clearing the manual memory data

You can clear all the data stored in the manual memory at one time when you turn ON the power while pressing the panel switch [PRINT (MM CLEAR)].

 

[Note]

The data stored in the manual memory cannot be cleared on an address basis. They are cleared all at one time. Before clearing the stored data, print the necessary data or store them with other means.
