Block memory operations

Block memory operations

Storing data in the block memory

The block memory is used for the timer measurement. Each time the measurement is completed in timer measurement, the data is automatically stored in the block memory. Immediately after clearing the block memory, data is memorized from the address of 0001 of block B0. (Block cannot be selected.) If data has been memorized in all the addresses of block B0 during measurement, data is memorized in address 0001 of block B1.

When you start new timer measurement, data is memorized from the address 0001 of the block next to the one in which data has been memorized at the end of the last timer measurement. If the measurement is repeated infinitely, data is memorized in up to address 1440 of block B9 and subsequently, and only timer measurement is continued.

[Notes]

If the data is memorized in up to block B9 in the last timer measurement, timer measurement is continued unless you clear the block memory but data is not memorized. For block address which has no data is displayed as "----".

Recalling data from block memo

The recall procedure for the block memory is as follows.

(1) Complete the store operation.
Please refer to the above procedure of "1. Storing data in the block memory".

(2) Switch to the timer mode.
Select the secondary panel switch mode and then press the timer panel switch to turn timer measurement ON. When timer measurement is turned ON, the timer measurement ON mark is displayed and the memory address changes from the manual memory to the block memory.

(3) Select the block number to recall data.
Select the secondary panel switch mode and then press the panel switch [Memory (▲·▼)] to select the block number (B0). "----" is displayed when the addresses contain no data, the address number is displayed when the addresses contain data.

(4) Perform the recall operation.
Press the panel switch [Recall] after selecting the panel switch mode to secondary mode. The data stored in address 0001 of the specified block is recalled. The recall mark is displayed during the recall operation. At this time, you can change the address number by pressing the panel switch [Memory (▲·▼)].

Clearing data in block memory

When you turn ON the power while pressing the panel switch [STORE (BM CLEAR)], all data in the block memory are cleared

[Note]

It takes approx 3 seconds to complete the data clearing operation. When the clearing operation is completed, the sound level meter is reactivated. The data stored in the block memory cannot be cleared on an address basis.
They can be cleared all at one time. Before clearing the stored data, print the necessary data or store them with other means.
