There is no difference if an optional compact IMU is used instead of a built-in IMU. Because the built-in IMU and an optional compact IMU are the same. If an optional compact IMU is connected to the main unit, the interpolation is performed only by the compact IMU, and the built-in IMU becomes unable to function.
