This example shows how to measure the NC (Noise Criteria) value as the environmental evaluation item of the background noise in the state of air-conditioned and calm space such as indoor, hall and hospital.

• NC value can be obtained by performing 1/1 real-time octave analysis with "FLAT" frequency weighting in order to apply its analyzed data to the NC curve graph.
• Set the frequency weighting of LA-7200 to be "FLAT" and perform the 1/1 real-time octave analysis. The NC value can be obtained directly.
• All of the measurement data are stored in SD card. Those data can be recalled by connecting the main unit of sound level meter or SD card to the Windows-based PC without any exclusive software. You can perform the measurement data freely as secondary processing with the spreadsheet software etc.
• Instead of LA-7200, LA-7500 Precision wide-range sound level meters also can be used for NC value measurement.
