This application makes Pass/Fail judgment of a stepping motor using vibration level and frequency analysis spectrum.

The NP-3414 accelerometer with built-in preamplifier detects a signal and outputs it to the VC-2200 vibration comparator. The VC-2200 makes judgment based on the vibration level and sends the result to the PC. Also the VC-2200 outputs an analog signal to the CF-4700 FFT comparator, which performs frequency analysis of the signal. This enables block comparison of vibration level of the stepping motor which cannot be judged by only the VC-2200 to deliver a final judgment. The judgment result is sent to the PC in a similar way and saved.

Judgment area block (max: 20 blocks) is set up by the specified frequency range and the upper/lower-limit levels on the power spectrum.The most suitable judgment method can be selected from 6 kinds of judgment methods (level, peak level, peak max, insideMax, partial overall or area rate of content). Also control with a PLC* can be performed using comparator output through the digital I/O function.

The CF-4700 can be connected to a computer through LAN or RS-232C interface and the data can be saved.
