The unit has an EL system backlight.
It is not a continuously lighting, so setting the lighting time on the menu (maximum 30 seconds) is necessary.
The backlight is turned ON when the panel switch [LIGHT] is pressed. It is automatically turned OFF after elapse of the selected time (10s/ 20s/ 30s).
Also, if you press the panel switch while lighting, it is lit for the selected time from that moment.
The power is turned ON in the state that the backlight is turned OFF, regardless of whether the panel condition memory function is enabled or disabled.
