Where does this sound come from?

 

MI-5420 is probe microphone to visualize sound source with a minimum number of microphones by using Beam Forming and originally developed calculation method. Compact design of approx. 35 cm allows ease of use and good portability.

 

Two types of probe head (for low frequency and high frequency) are provided to meet demands for wide frequency range measurement. As 500 Hz to 8000 Hz of frequency is supported by two probe heads, you can select either depending on your needs.

For high frequency measurement
(microphone interval: 60 mm): 1 kHz to 8 kHz

For low frequency measurement
(microphone interval: 120 mm): 500 Hz to 4 kHz

Application example

The measurement system includes DS-3200 series as a measurement unit, MI-5420 as a microphone. BF-3100 and OS-2000 series software are used for measurement and analysis.
