In this example, the VR-6100 measures vibration when a track passing a road. This method is useful for vibration insulation countermeasures etc.
• Each region has criterions for environmental vibration such as the vibration from running Shinkansen etc. The related guidelines identify the use of vibration level meter for vibration measurement. For example, the guideline in Yokohama city says that countermeasures for vibration source or prevention of hazard due to vibration must be taken urgently at the area where vibration from running Shinkansen exceeds 70 dB. Also, the AQ-VU Visual recorder (made by TEAC* corporation, user preparation) can record and replay a vibration object as a video in synchronization with the vibration data. This allows visual checking of what causes a rapid change in vibration at unattended and automatic vibration measurement.
