Elevator Speedometer
EC-900

The EC-900 is a compact, battery-operated portable speedometer for use in elevator adjustment, maintenance and inspection. It measures speed only by pressing the circumferential ring lightly to an elevator pulley. The display uses red LEDs, making it easily visible in dark locations.

The displayed value can be held by the external contact signal and the push-button switches. In combination with the optional external hold detector switch (EC-001A), the EC-900 can hold the measurement value while the governor is working. Two points of the governor can be measured and displayed simultaneously by the dual-display.

Features

  • High durability; 5 kg allowable load at radial and thrust directions

  • Can be measured from 0.1 m/min, applicable for hydraulic elevator.

  • The EC-091 external detector enables remote measurement.

  • Can be used as a contact-type tachometer by mounting the KS-300 rotating contact tip (option).

  • Outputs pulse signal proportional to the rotation speed.

  • Easy fixing by the jig mounting hole
