The SR-1100 microphone preamplifier is connected to a preamplifier to obtain an amplified signal output.  It converts the frequency range up to 100 kHz, enabling use in wideband measurement applications.

The SR-1100 features an electrode polarizing power supply, enabling its use with bias-type microphones.
