NP-2106 (single-axial) and NP-2506 (tri-axial) piezoelectric type accelerometers feature ultra compact and light weighted which are suitable for the drop impact tests of mobile device or portable product and vibration measurements of light weighted parts.

The NP-2106 is super light weighted type weighing mere 0.2g and allows measurement of ultra high acceleration maximum at 100,000 m/s2. The tri-axial accelerometer NP-2506 can measure the accelerations of three directions (X, Y and Z). It is the size of 8 x 7 x 5.5 mm and weighs 1.2g, which is remarkable compact size for the tri-axial accelerometer. These accelerometers are suitable for the drop impact tests of mobile device or portable product and vibration measurements of light weighted parts offering versatile applications.

Applications

œ Example of the an impact test of mobile products or electronic printed wiring board

œ The impact acceleration at the time of dropping products can be measured by mounting the sensor on
    the mobile devices.

œ They can measure the vibration of parts which is installed into the small space such as assembled
   parts in an automobile or printing mechanism section in a printer.

œ It can be used as sensor for monitoring the acceleration of metallic processing machines such as
   press or impact machines.
