This example shows how to evaluate ride quality of a railroad vehicle in actually running. Detect vibration of a seat of a railroad vehicle when it is actually running by using the NP-7310 low-frequency and high-sensitivity type accelerometer. Record the detected vibration signal to the DR-7100 portable data recorder as a long period of time series data. Using those recorded data and the OS-2000 series time-series analysis software, you can make off-line data processing such as various calculations or waveform analysis, and evaluation of ride quality from the results.
