• As an inspection of pump or the like before delivery, visual checking by vibration meter, hearing test by stethoscopic probe and sensory test depending on human senses are popular. The VC-2100 helps to perform steady and efficient automatic inspection according to the numerical values. The VC-2100 also enables to make OK/NG determination by overall vibration values of pump as well as inspection of the wrong assembly of internal bearing.
• The VC-2100 can be setup two frequency bands, and make OK/NG determination based on the rms or the peak value on each band. The VC-2100 has effective functions such as comparator delay time setup function for reduction of unwanted signal at the time of measurement start, automatic operation function in order to control the determination timing by input the gate signal from external equipments such as PLC*. You can use the VC-2100 at 100VAC with VC-0352 AC/DC converter as well as 24VDC (22 to 26VDC) as a power source.
• By connecting a pair of commercially sold headphones to the VC-2100, it is possible to make an auditory check of the vibrating sound. Moreover, it can be used instead of conventional stethoscopic probe. Output signals are provided for each band, enabling an observation for vibration phenomenon on each frequency band separately.
• Also by installing VC-0251 integration function (option), the signal from accelerometer is integrated to enable measurement of velocity and displacement. This can be combined with the comparator function to make OK/NG determination which is based on velocity and displacement criteria.
