This example shows how to inspect component parts of a railroad vehicle by using the LA-7500 High performance sound level meter. Hammer the component parts and measure the hammering sound while checking it through headphones.

By adding the LA-0703 FFT analysis software (option), you can perform FFT analysis of the sound at the measurement field.

Recording those required data helps to evaluate by comparison with the previous data.

The LA-0704 sound recording function (option) can record the sound to an SD card at WAV format. It is useful for detailed sound analysis off-line by using FFT analyzer etc.
