Applying load to a testing material makes it distorted in shape with its load. The strength characteristic of the testing material can be measured by recording the relationship of load-displacement to the recorder etc. and drawing load-displacement in curve.

The DG-4190 has comparator function and can display the value visually. When the measured value against the setting value is either "Lower" or "Upper", the backlight of LCD changes into red color.
