Acoustics Lab

The entire outer enclosure of this acoustics building is covered with vibration-damping rubber, within which individual enclosures for each lab are positioned, thereby forming a huge double-layered structure. The result is that the building is isolated from the intrusion of outside sound and ground vibrations which are transmitted via solid paths, thereby enabling the implementation of the world's first class anechoic chamber , hemi-anechoic chamber , and reverberation(for both sound generation and receiving).These facilities are the scene of Ono Sokki's leading-edghe testing and reserch in acoustics and vibration, including sound and vibration research performed under contract from both industry and government.
