additionally required for the DD series.

- The DSTP series are semi-standard
models manufactured on order.
- Owing to coupling balance and
critical speed problem raised at high-speed and large
torque measurement, please check the rate of revolution
before ordering. Please consult us for details.

MD
Series Torque Detectors
The MD series are the low-capacity type torque detectors.
The followings are the important notes on mounting the couplings.

<Notes> |
- Please avoid being over torque while
mounting the couplings.
- Please keep the specified accuracy of
alignment. Low accuracy of alignment may cause a
friction torque, abnormal noise, and other troubles.
- Please do not apply a strong force
toward a thrust direction of a shaft. The total force
should only include coupling’s when mounting the MD
detector vertically.
- Revolution detector (option) can be
mounted on either load or drive side. Please specify the
position you would like to mount the revolution detector
when placing an order. The revolution detector will be
mounted on drive side if not specified.
