FZ-2200A Massflow Meter FAQ

Is there a detector that can measure urea water?

We have experience measuring urea water with the FZ series Massflow Meter. When urea water comes into contact with air, crystals are formed, and these crystals accumulate in the joint and in the flow measurement tube. Since the accumulated crystals affect the measurement accuracy, if the crystals are washed by flushing them with water during the measurement, the FZ series can be used. However, please take note that the detector is calibrated with test solution (industrial gasoline or light oil).

*The flow rate range, operating temperature range, and operating conditions are required to confirm. On-board measurement cannot be performed as the measurement value fluctuates due to vibration.

Is it possible to calculate when selecting the volumetric flow rate [L/h] in the settings of the FM series Flow Meter connected to the FZ-2200A?

The volumetric flow rate can be calculated inside the FM-3100 Flow Meter with the mass flow rate and density measured by the FZ-2200A. As the density changes with temperature, always use the measured value.
